Well isn’t this interesting:
The whaling ban was adopted back in 1986 under President Reagan, upheld through both Bushes and Clinton. Obama made the promise that he would uphold it as part of his campaign rhetoric.
And like so many other Obama promises, this one wasn’t worth the air he expended to make it.
