What is paranoia? Commonly, it’s defined as the irrational belief that people are conspiring to do you harm. Normally, there would be no dispute, except nowadays, it’s seeming a heck of a lot less “irrational.”
A breakdown has been building for decades now; a schism between the common man and those who claim to represent him. Politicians seem all too willing to offer promises to the voters, only to completely abandon campaign points as soon as the votes are tallied. Once in office, too many politicians, from either side of the aisle, blithely ignore all input from John Public and Sally Mainstreet. It seems that once these people enter the hallowed halls, our usefulness to them has ceased.
Of course, they tend to forget that not one dime they spend comes from them, but rather from us, the tax payer. Whether it is sweeping health care “reform” or the pencils in their secretary’s desk, the American People are footing the bill. They like to forget that little tidbit, just as they like to forget that without us, they would be on the unemployment line.
For too long have our voices been stifled and our opinions ignored. For too long have we been cast aside between election cycles. For too long have these jackals grown fat from our labor as we struggle to feed ourselves on the coin of their lies.
I am not a journalist or an investigator. That would require me leaving my house from time to time. What I am is an American, a Conservative, a father and husband. An artist, writer, reader, and researcher. I see things happening in the world and I pause to think about their consequences.
This page is my thoughts on various things. It is COMMENTARY, not JOURNALISM. Unlike the Mainstream Media (aka the DNC Propaganda Machine) I do not present opinion as fact and vice versa. Fact is fact, opinion is opinion, and bullshit is bullshit, and I take great pains to make sure that YOU, the reader, are aware of which you are reading here.
