DUDE! Where’s My Cartoon?!?

Posted By TFMo on February 25, 2010

Good heavens, what a week.

There’s going to be a few changes here at JBYP. Even after paring down the time it takes to do the art for Lil’ O-Bama, I just do not have the time to churn it out twice a week. Lil’ O will be featured every Sunday, and if I actually manage to wrangle some surplus time out of my week, then I’ll certain post an extra (probably on Wednesday), but those will be the exception rather than the rule.

I seriously need to get back to writing articles. I’m not going to bother listing a schedule, nor will I promise an article a day, or every couple of days; I write when I have something to write. I will try to do at least one a week, but you know me; I might churn out three in one day.

One thing I am going to start doing is a Troll-Free Friday Open Thread. I spend a lot of time posting at Blogs For Victory, and nearly every thread gets hijacked by scumbag trolls. Conversations are derailed and the whole thing dissolves into a shouting match (which is, of course, exactly what trolls strive for.) So the TFFOT, I will offer a few topics of discussion, and I will mercilessly ban any and all trolls so we can hopefully have a decent discussion, either of my topics or ones brought up by posters. Trolls can comment on my other threads as they wish, provided they adhere to the rules of this blog. Remember; this is MY house. It’s not a democracy; it’s a benevolent dictatorship.

In other news, I will be putting up a page here to hawk my wares. Me and Mrs. Mo have an account with the good folks at Zazzle that features my artwork, and you can purchase anything I’ve drawn as a tee-shirt, bumper sticker, tote, underwear, bookmark, coffee cup, whatever. If there’s something you’d like to see in that form, by all means shoot me an e-mail and we’ll slap it together. Our most recent offering was requested by our pal Neocon 1 from B4V: a bumper sticker featuring my most recent miniseries, the Lose Brothers.

I’m also still planning on doing a page devoted to review of books, movies, TV shows, etc. No particular reason, it’s just how I roll.

Thankee!
